    Angela Aschbrenner gave a report on Leadership Training. She offered to come to Area Workshops to help develop leadership.

    The Bylaws Committee will begin work on the new Bylaws and Standing Rules in July and have them ready for the Board to adopt in September. They will be distributed to Division Presidents at the Fall Area Workshops.

    Bill Ruehmann presented his list of suggested appointments for the Issue Management Steering Commmittee, which was approved:
      Two Division Presidents, Barbara Gibson, Pat Boyd,
        (Alternate) Martin Stiles,
      Two Area Directors. Bill Ruehmann, Angela Aschbrenner,
      Two State Legislation Committee Members, Ken Hewitt, Chair; Bill Goldman,
      Two State Insurance Committee Members, Lee Jernigan, Chair; Norman Rogers,
        (Alternate) Ray Ensher,
      Two State Membership CommitteeMembers, Jean Flake, Chair; Frank Broz,
        (Alternates) Tom Collette, and Maxine Hackett,
      Two State Communications Committee Members, Yvonne Mitchell, Chair; Lorraine Force,
        (Alternate) Becky Carroll,
      President, Eva Hain, President-elect, George Avak
      Three State CRTA Consultants, Mark Alcorn, Ed Ely, Dave Walrath,
      Two State Business Office Members, Angelique Hill, and Johanna Hobbs.

      Fall Workshop dates and locations that are known at this time are:
        Area I date unknown in Santa Rosa (Date Sept. 24 established after minutes typed.)
        Area V September 21 in Salinas
        Area VI September 17 in Fresno
        Area VII September 16 in Pasadena Area VIII September 23 in Pasadena
        Area IX September 27 in Redlands
        Area X September 21 in Santa Ana

      A motion passed that $5,000 of the Membership Pilot fund will be reserved for the membership marketing survey conducted by Julie Costantino.

      MSC that the Nominations and Elections Committee be kept at eleven members, one per area, (elected by their area members), plus chair, as existed before.
