  1. Bankrate.Com:  Excellent debt management site. Get current interest rates, best credit card deals,
    and new stories from managing your credit card to refinancing your mortgage.
  2. Consumer Affairs California Department:  you can check consumer information, file a complaint and get consumer help.
  3. Consumer Affairs Marin County :  info about consumer protection, environmental protection, insurance fraud, financial and elder abuse, and filing compaints.
  4. Consumer Protection Napa County :  contains links to complaints, consumer alerts and scams,
    elder fraud, legal remedies,..., telephone help, and tips & info.
  5. Consumer Protection Sonoma County :  offers links to fraud topics such as identity theft, Nigerian letter letter scam and travelers family scam.
  6. Community Resources Lake County :  clickable links to many community resource sites such as
    adult services, chemical dependence, clothing, and transportations.
  7. Consumer Protection Federal Trade Commission:   site is easy to navigate and has up-to-date
    information on credit legislation as well as documentations on credit-related issues.
  8. Debt Counselors of America:  This user friendly site helps you to dig out of a financial hole. It
    covers credit repair, child support, identity theft, and repossessions, among other topics. Reports
    cost $2.50 each.
  9. Debt Help:  Guy Picard, author of "Turning It Around", offers some invaluable advice on when to
    declare bankruptcy and how to restore your credit.
  10. Money Center on Consumer Affairs:   This microsoft site offers sites on planning for retirement,
    savings and debt calculators, scholarship and colleges, auto insurance and estate planning, and
